Collected today from the library:

Looking for Jake by China MiƩville. A collection of short stories.
The Brothers Karamozov, by Fyodor Dostoevsky. A serial novel.
Akira, by Katsuhiro Otomo. A serial comic.

The two serial books are classics. The short stories are very hit or miss, but are good summer fare.

I already have “the Geography of Time” on my shelf, which I will finish first.

All in all this is a little more than I like to read at once, but fortunately the libraries furlough is at the end of this month, and all these books have extended lives for that time.
